King of Hearts....Ya, right....

King of Hearts...Ya, right... (*for you my friend...)

We have all been here.  It seems a right of passage for any of us who tend to give our hearts out of love.  Not expecting, but in hope of being cared for in return.  If in friendship or in falling in love with the one of our dreams... there is pain when the person who you thought was really isn't.....
It is unfortunate that the fall will not always come to both.
One can only hope that the timing will be right.
I say just be your true self.  If you are loved for who you truly are, then when it is returned and you both fall, you will know it is right.

Two songs have been on my mind :
The first one......

Natalie Imbruglia ~ Torn

I always say never assume anything...
and never take things personally always do your best!!!  Speak well of yourself and of others!  Set the bar high and rise above it!  [*please note....I am not perfect....I fail at this....but I do try! ;)]

It is not always about you...~ you know...it is the old saying..."It's not you, it's me!"  Well I come by those thoughts by the book written by Don Miguel Ruiz: The Four Agreements.
  They are as follows:

1. Be impeccable with your word.
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or gossip about others.  Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

2.  Don't take anything personally.
Nothing others do is because of you.  What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream.  When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be a victim of needles suffering.

3. Don't make assumptions.
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want.  Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama.  With just this one agreement you can completely transform your life.

4.  Always do your best.
Yours best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different from when you are healthy as opposed to sick.  Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

 Have a great week!
